Kate DiNardo handles a variety of matters, both in civil and criminal law. In the criminal arena, Kate represents client charged with misdemeanors and felonies in State and Federal Court. Additionally, she represents clients seeking to clear their criminal records under the new Indiana Expungement law.

Prior to opening her own practice, Kate worked as an associate at an Entertainment and Intellectual Property Law Firm in downtown Indianapolis, where she advised and represented individual and corporate clients in the areas of trademarks, copyrights, licensing, music, advertising, internet, rights of publicity, sweepstakes, media, and other related areas.

After leaving the field of Entertainment and Intellectual Property Law, Kate became a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney at the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office in Indianapolis, Indiana. During her four years as a Deputy Prosecutor, Kate handled a range of cases in misdemeanor, domestic violence, and major felony courts, allowing her to gain extensive courtroom and trial experience.

In addition to representing private clients, Kate is a member of the Developmental Panel for the Indiana Federal Community Defender Agency (where she works on and sits as co-counsel on federal criminal cases), is a conflict attorney for the Marion County Public Defender’s Agency (where she represents individuals charged in misdemeanor and felony courts), and is a contract attorney for Child Advocates, Inc. (where she is assigned to represent children in CHINS 6 cases).
